Editor: VS Code + Cursor
VS Code is still the main driver, but I switch to Cursor when writing a new feature, because its Cmd+K fits my hands better than Copilot.
Extensions I keep installed:
- Vue - Official — mandatory for Vue 3
- GitLens — puts git log inline with the code
- Error Lens — errors show up at the end of the line
Terminal: Warp + zsh
Warp’s AI command completion is impressive, though it stutters now and then. zsh with oh-my-zsh and a few plugins:

- Claude Code — refactors, writing tests
- ChatGPT — looking up docs, talking through architecture
- Cursor Chat — asking questions while I write
Tools are there to amplify judgment, not replace it. Whether they help comes down to whether you already have a clear goal in your head.
Browser: Arc
Vertical tabs plus Spaces got me out of the 100-open-tabs mess. The one downside is that the devtools aren’t as comfortable as Chrome’s, so I still switch back to debug.
Notes: Obsidian
Local Markdown, so I never have to worry about a service shutting down. Sync it to a private GitHub repo with Git and you have a permanent backup at zero cost.
